"Brazilians love football, they LOVE TO PLAY BEAUTIFULLY, but above all they really love to win.

If you analyze Brazil’s current situation, there are very good defenders, some of the best in the world, very good transition players: wingers, attacking midfielders and also forwards.

This gives you an idea of the type of football you can play, but then there is the country’s culture: playing attacking football, winning football, and playing with a smile. That has to be taken into account.

You need to have a clear identity, but also know how to adapt. You must be able to balance your own ideas with the characteristics of the players and, of course, with the NATION’S IDENTITY.

It’s not an easy job, no. And on top of that YOU HAVE TO WIN THE WORLD CUP!"
